The Faculty of Accounting – Auditing was established in 2010 on the basis of separation from the Faculty of Accounting – Finance – Banking, with the purpose of focusing on developing training and scientific research in the field of accounting – auditing.
The Faculty of Accounting – Auditing trains and provides human resources in accounting, finance, auditing and consulting for manufacturing, business, service enterprises, auditing and consulting companies as well as public administrative agencies, serving the development of the Vietnamese economy.
As part of the University’s general development strategy, the main development directions of the Faculty of Accounting and Auditing include:
Improve training quality to meet the needs of businesses and employers of all economic sectors.
Promote scientific research among lecturers and students to contribute solutions to theoretical and practical professional problems.
Form an academic community linked to professional organizations to create a close connection between training and use, between theory and practice.
To implement the above orientations, in the coming time the Faculty of Accounting – Auditing will focus on the following tasks:
Develop a teaching team, including full-time lecturers and visiting lecturers from universities and practical units.
Innovating the training program to provide necessary knowledge and professional skills for students when entering different jobs in the field of accounting and auditing. Along with the credit system, the training program is designed to be flexible, allowing many options for students to be more proactive in the training and personal development process.
Innovate training methods towards developing professional skills right during the training process. Students are encouraged to research on their own, work in groups, exchange ideas, carry out projects… to be able to promote work efficiency right after graduation.
Develop a learning material system for training systems with the goal of providing adequate learning resources for students to self-study in addition to studying in class.
Organize scientific research among lecturers and students, through the implementation of scientific research projects and publication of articles in scientific journals.
