STUDENTS FROM HO CHI MINH CITY OPEN UNIVERSITY VISIT UNIVERSITI UTARA MALAYSIA FOR AN ACADEMIC TOUR.

From June 2 to June 6, 2025, students from the Faculty of Accounting and Auditing at Ho Chi Minh City Open University (HCMCOU) participated in a meaningful international academic tour at Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM). This trip was not only a memorable experience but also a valuable opportunity for students to broaden their horizons, gain practical industry insights, and experience an international learning environment.

At Universiti Utara Malaysia, HCMCOU students immersed themselves in a dynamic, multicultural academic environment. They had the opportunity to engage in lively professional exchanges and gain valuable insights from leading experts through specialized workshops.

Universiti Utara Malaysia—renowned as a premier Malaysian institution for management, accounting, and information technology—provided HCMCOU students with deep insights into modern teaching methodologies and industry trends within a global context.

Beyond their academic activities, the students’ journey also featured a series of fascinating cultural discoveries. They visited Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia’s bustling heart, where they marveled at the grandeur of the Batu Caves and their colorful steps, admired the magnificence and unique architecture of the iconic Petronas Twin Towers, and enjoyed the vibrant, culturally rich atmosphere of the bustling Chinatown district. Another moving stop on the itinerary was the city of Malacca, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Here, students had the opportunity to explore the history of diverse cultural intersections, discover ancient architectural landmarks bearing the marks of time, and experience the cultural depth of this serene region. These hands-on experiences not only enriched their geographical and historical knowledge but also deepened their understanding of the region’s cultural diversity.
